The existing ice surface at the Rosedale arena needed to be renovated.

Amvic silverboard was the insulation of choice because of its affordability. As well, the fact that it comes in 4' x 8' sheet size makes it quicker to install saving the contractor on labour as well. It has less seams, but still meets all of the engineering specifications like the other two major brands.
